We MUST eliminate homelessness and risk factors for female veterans! VWC work includes bridging connections between the veteran and appropriate resources to address the following critical elements: mental illness, substance abuse disorders, or a lack of basic independent life skills. For veterans, these individual symptoms are often magnified when transitioning from military to civilian life.
